There is so much pain and suffering associated with weight loss. Millions of women and men struggle everyday of their lives to keep a healthy weight, to become thin and to control their food cravings.

The media is always showing us how to look good, meaning thin and how not to look good, meaning overweight.

Little girls are dieting as they still play with their dolls. And now the obsession has extended to men and boys, who are starting to diet just as much as women. Many people exercise until exhaustion, and addiction to exercise is not uncommon.


What’s ironic, is that after all those “treatments” for overweight, Americans keep getting larger and larger.

Something is not working, something is not right.

We may obsess with our bodies, our weight and our looks, as if they are the most important thing to us. Yet, there is no denial that we are so much more.

We are spiritual beings. We are emotional beings. We are energetic beings. We are not just a body that needs to be thinned.

Our body is a precious tool, a beautiful universe, and as we don’t honor this truth, our bodies rebel. Our bodies are saying no more of this insanity.

Many think that treating the body right is about finding the latest food and nutritional discoveries and using organic or natural ingredients. But there is a lot more.
